Myovision Spinal Scan

       Normal                                           Abnormal

What is MyoVision?

The SEMG (Surface Electromyography) is an exam that uses scanning technology to measure muscle balance and determine
the amount of electrical activity your muscles release when they are contracting. The scan provides data and detects nerve
interference (pinched nerves) and pinpoints misalignments.
An effective treatment strategy can restore the normal flow of energy to the affected areas of your spine.

How does Myovision Work?

Computerized Spinal Exaination through Surface Electromyography(SEMG) is used to evaluate the relative levels of electrical activity associated with nerve interference. By interfering with the communication between the brain and the rest of the body, a pinched nerve leads to the improper electrical impulses which can lead to poor health.

This test uses the same testing process as the EKG (Electro Cardiogram) test performed by your medical doctor to measure the activity of the heart muscle.

How is the Myovision exam carried out?

The SEMG is a noinvasive test using probes that are gently placed along your spine on key vertebral points from your Neck (cervical spine) to your Lower back (lumbar spine). The outcome of this test is to pin point vertebra that are misaligned. Higher readings are indicative of uneven energy flow throughout your body.

The spinal column is the key to the massive network of nerves that reach every point in your body. All nerves originate from the primary brain stem and are distributed through and between each vertebra. There are 7 cervical (neck) vertebra, 12 Thoracic (upper and mid back) and 5 Lumber (Lower back) channels. If a vertebra is misaligned, the nerve in that area becomes “pinched” thus decreasing the flow of vital energy to the affected area.
